“Magic Box” by Ampol Food in cooperation with Expressway Authority of Thailand and JS100 continued a project

“Magic Box” by Ampol Food Processing Ltd. along with Expressway Authority of Thailand and JS100 joined together again to push a project toward to achieved its goals and objectives, have signed an agreement to begin “Magic Box & Expressway Loves the Earth Project 5”, at Conference Room 2301, Building 2, 3rd Floor, Expressway Authority of Thailand.

Ampol Food Processing Ltd. along with Expressway Authority of Thailand and JS100 joined together to create “Magic Box & Expressway Loves the Earth Project” to raise public awareness broadly on environmental issues and together push a project toward to achieved its goals and objectives by promoting a campaign by inviting people to wash – keep – send UHT cartons to tollgates of Expressway Authority of Thailand to recycle into chipboard and to produce set of school desks and chairs then give them to underprivileged schools in rural area.

 

After having successful collaboration, Ampol Food in cooperation with Expressway Authority of Thailand and JS100 continue Magic Box Project. Additionally Dr. Kriengsak Theppadungporn, Managing Director of Ampol Food Processing Ltd. has again signed an agreement with Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT) governor Mr. Narong Gieddec to continue social responsibility activity under “Magic Box & Expressway Loves the Earth Project 5”, which related to both EXAT and APF vision of social responsibility. The campaign intends to promote and invite corporate staffs, people and EXAT users to join and to create their awareness on saving global environment.

This project has been publicized through JS100 Information and Traffic Report Radio Station, and also provided boxes for receiving waste UHT carton recycling and public relation posters at more than 27 tollgates of Expressway Authority of Thailand as the following: Expressway Authority of Thailand Chatuchak, Land Acquisition Department Building, Chalerm Maha Nakhon Expressway Central Control Center, Si Rat Expressway Central Control Center, Chalongrat Expressway Control Center, Burapha Withi Expressway Central Control Center, Udon Ratthaya Expressway Central Control Center, Bangplee-Suksawad Expressway Control Center, and etc.

Over the past 4 years, “Magic Box & Expressway Loves the Earth Project” by Ampol Food received greatly response and cooperation from people, EXAT users and EXAT’s staffs and JS100.

Magic Box Project has received 1,762,500 pieces of waste UHT carton (176,250 kilograms) to recycle into sets of school desks and chairs and could reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions which came from fuel combustion for 158,625 kilograms, could preserved 26,437 square meters of forest, moreover could reduce 705 square meters of waste management area.

With great response, “Magic Box & Expressway Loves the Earth Project” can produce 705 sets of school desks and chairs built with chipboard which made of recycled UHT cartons and has distributed them to 18 underprivileged schools in Phetchaburi, Nakorn Nayok, Saraburi and Chaiyapoom.
