Ampol Food and Voice TV continue collaborate in a project “Magic Box Contest 2” to open a world of opportunity for college students across the country by encouraging them to creating project plan on volunteer camps for rural development to fund-shortage school in the other provinces. And 10 selected projects would receive a development camp scholarship fund including school desk and chair sets made of recycled UHT cartons worth Bt200,000.

On Wednesday, May 11 th 2016, Ampol Food, Thailand’s food and beverage innovation leader, along with Voice TV collaborated in continuing project “Magic Box Contest 2”. The purpose of Magic Box Contest was to promote giving society among young people and to promote and support education for students in remote area by giving them sets of school desks and chairs built with chipboard which made of recycled UHT cartons.

“Magic Box Contest”, is a project which was determinedly created by Ampol Food Processing Ltd. and Voice TV, would like to invite college students and interested people across the country to join the contest and creating project plan on volunteer camps for rural development and to fund-shortageschool and students in the other provinces and giving them sets of schooldesks and chairs.

Dr. Kriengsak Theppadungporn, Managing Director of Ampol Food Processing Ltd. said that last year, “Magic Box Contest” was greatly successful and received overwhelming interest from young people, who will play vital role in developing the country in the future. They entered the contest and created great project for underprivileged schools. Therefore we continue to hold “Magic Box Contest” for the second year, and again students across the country who enter the contest have created really outstanding projects which  making the judges have to work harder, however finally we have selected 10 most beneficial and effective projects as we sit fit.

Over the past years, Magic Box by Ampol Food has received so many awards e.g. MAT Award 2015 from Marketing Association of Thailand in the category of Social Marketing and Asia Responsible Entrepreneurship Award 2015 in the category of Green Leadership Award. Magic Box Project is one of environmental awareness projects which aims to promote environmental protection and build a better society. Magic Box Contest’s 10 selected projects would receive a development camp scholarship funds worth Bt20,000 including school desk and chair sets made of recycled UHT cartons worth Bt200,000. Volunteer development camps have taken place during May – November 2016.
